Saturday past saw four Intermediate and three Junior games lost to wet pitches so hopefully there may be an improvement in the weather for Saturday 4th November.
In the IFA Irish Cup Ballymoney United and Strabane Athletic progress to the next round after wins on Saturday. Glebe Rangers games was off on Saturday so will be re-arranged for Saturday coming.

INTERMEDIATE
LEAGUE
MAIDEN CITY 4 - 2 DESERTMARTIN
City went in front after Dylan Mooney scored on the 16th minute and this goal separated the teams for a long period. The Martin got back level after Eamon Og McAllister scored on the 40th minute then went in front after Connor Stewart scored on the 45th minute. City got back level after Stephen Duffy scored on the 60th minute then he went on to complete his hat-trick with goals on the 85th and 87th minute sealing the win for City.

NEWTOWNE 3 - 0 CHIMNEY CORNER
Newtowne took the lead after Colin Mullan scored on the 5th minute then added a second after Daniel Boyle scored on the 10th minute. This saw the goals dry up until Daniel McGilligan scored a third goal for Newtowne on the 92nd minute.

WAKEHURST 3 - 0 BRANTWOOD
Wakehurst went in front after Andrew Laughlin scored on the 3rd minute this being followed by Caolan O’Loan scoring on the 11th minute doubling Wakehurst advantage. Wakehurst went three goals ahead after Jamie Houston scored on the 40th minute. Brantwood discipline the let them down with their Manager being Red carded on the 61st minute then a player sent off on the 89th minute and a second player Red carded after the final whistle.

IRISH CUP 3rd ROUND
PORTSTEWART 1 - 3 BALLYMONEY UNITED
The home side went in front after Pierce Quigley scored on the 15th minute and this goal separated the teams until Reece Watton scored the equaliser for the Toon on the 42nd minute. The Toon went in front after Garald Gillan scored on the 58th minute and sealed the win when Paul Keane scored on the 80th minute.
STRABANE ATHLETIC 3 - 2 DROMARA VILLAGE
Strabane went in front after Jonathan Robb converted a penalty on the 12th minute this goal being followed by a second goal scored by Declan Sharkey on the 17th minute. Things got better for Strabane when Jonathan Robb converted a second penalty on the 24th minute which saw Strabane three goals clear at half-time. The visitors got back in the game after Marcus Murray scored a brace of goal on the 49th and 65th minute but after this Strabane shut shop and held on for the win.
WELLINGTON REC 1 - 3 FIVEMILETOWN UNITED
The visitors went in front on the 1st minute with a goal scored by Simon Robb. The Rec hit back with the equaliser scored by Danile McIlroy on the 22nd minute. Half-time was almost reached when Jordan Cadden scored for the United on the 43rd minute. The Rec then had two men sent off on the 64th and 76th minutes before United had a man sent off on the 83rd minute. Time was almost up when David Fulton scored a third goal for United on the 92nd minute.
NEWBUIDLINGS UNITED 0 5 LIMAVADY UNITED
After a steady start by both teams United went in front after Dean Brown scored on the 30th minute. After this United had a man sent off on the 37th minute and had the better of the attacking play scoring four more goals through Matthew Walker 68th, John Butcher 70th, Ian Parkhil 77th and Joseph McCready 91st minute.

COOKSTOWN OLYMPIC 1 - 1 3rd BALLYCLARE OB
Both defences had the better of the play with the first goal being scored by Martin Meenan on the 34th minute putting the Olympic ahead. Ballyclare came back with Jamie Wharry converting a penalty to level the game on the 39th minute and this score remained until the final whistle. Ballyclare also had a man sent off on the 88th minute.

St JAMES SWIFTS RES 1 - 2 BELFAST ATHLETIC
This was a closely contested game for the entire ninety minutes. St James went in front after Stephen McDonalds cored on the 21st minute and held this advantage at half-time. The Athletic got back level after Hugh McMahon scored on the 47th minute setting the game up for a grandstand finish. The third goal in the game which proved to be the winning goal was scored for the Athletic by Martin Reilly on the 63rd minute.

DESERTMARTIN SWIFTS 0 - 4 GREENCASTLE ROVERS
The Rovers went in front after Ryan McClory scored on the 11th minute and then were two in front after Jordan O’Kane scored on the 32nd minute. Mark Tutin made it three nil on the 47th minute and a penalty converted by Daniel McLarnon on the 67th minute completed a miserable day for the Swifts who had a man sent off on the 63rd minute.

RED STAR 1 - 4 BALLYNURE OB ‘B’
Ballynure went in front after David Higgins scored on the 15th minute who then added a second goal when scoring on the 24th minute. Ballynure went three goals clear after Kyle Abernethy converted a penalty on the 38th minute. The Star got a goal back after Lloyd Watters scored on the 73rd minute but the Nure had the final say when David Higgins completed his hat-trick on the 95th minute.

GREENCASTLE ROVERS II 10 - 1 NORTH BALLYMENA RANGERS ATH
Greencastle had control of this game after Sean McKeown scored on the 8th minute. More goals followed scored by Cormac Harrigan 14th 56th and 59th, Micheal Smyth 18th and 25th, Christopher Graham 20th and Sean Derry 68th, 70th and 83rd minutes. Colin Lewis scored a consolation goal for The North on the 90th minute.

Donegal were much sharper than the Young Belfast Celtic team scoring Seven goals without reply. Goals were sored by Martin McClory 3rd and 8th minutes, Sean McAteer 14th, Ryan Lambe 32nd, Caoimhin Mulvenna 37th, Padraig Hughes 70th and Stephen Ross 78th minutes.

HIGHTOWN ATHLETIC 3 - 2 NEWTOWNBREDA FC 1sts
Hightown went in front after Josh McFadden scored on the 15th minute and this goal separated the teams until Rory Jennings scored for the visitors on the 51st minute. Hightown replied with Aaron McKeown scoring on the 56th minute only to see Christopher Pollock equalise on the 68th minute. Time was then running down fast when Jordan Byrne scored the winner for the home side on the 87th minute.
NORTH BELFAST UNITED 3 - 1 ROOFTOP 1sts
United went in front after Liam Gowdy scored on the 24th minute then Karl Lamont equalised for the visitors on the 47th minute. The teams were still locked together as time was running out then goals scored by Liam Gowdy 87th and Michael O’Neil 94th minutes won the game for United.
