Fortunately, after the heavy rain through the week when it looked like a wash out for Saturday did not materialise.
All scheduled games except 4 off due to wet pitches were played plus two Junior Games lost due to No Official Referees being available.

INTERMEDIATE
McREYNOLDS CUP
GROUP 1
BELFAST CELTIC 6 - 0 BRANTWOOD
Celtic went in front after Denver Taggart scored on the 5th minute and doubled their advantage after Liam Mitchell scored on the 33rd minute. Celtic went in to score four more goal in the second half through Barry Webb 57th and 87th, Anthony Nelson 73rd and Liam Markey 86th minutes without reply.

St JAMES SWIFTS 1 - 0 DONEGAL CELTIC
This was a very closely contested game throughout its entirety and at the final whistle it was a goal scored by Connor Sullivan on the 39th minute that ensured the win to St James Swifts.

GROUP 2
STRABANE ATHLETC 3 - 0 MAIDEN CITY
Strabane took an early lead in the game after Aaron O’Hagan scored on the 5th minute and then doubled their advantage after Darren McMonagle scored on the 20th minute. The second half saw City try hard to get on the scoresheet but the only goal in the second half was scored by Darren McMonagle for Strabane on the 73rd minute.

NEWTOWNE 2 - 2 NEWBUILDINGS UNITED
After a steady start by both teams the first goal was scored by Donal McGilligan for Newtowne on the 42nd minute. Newbuildings hit back quickly with Jack McClelland scoring on the 47th minute then going in front after Matthew Pierce scored on the 74th minute. Time was then running down quickly when Noah Canning equalised for Newtowne on the 90th minute.

CHIMNEY CORNER 0 - 2 RATHCOOLE
Rathcoole had the better chances to go in front in the first half and went in front after Philip Maybin scored on the 21st minute. Rathcoole then went two goals clear after Wesley Patterson scored on the 36th minute and this score remained at half-time. Both teams had a chance to score in the second half but alas no more goals were scored.

WELLINGTON REC 2 - 1 WAKEHURST
The Rec went in front in this game after Aaron Smyth scored on the 38th minute and this goal separated the teams until Connor Doherty converted a penalty for Wakehurst on the 60th minute. The Rec replied to this immediately when Graham Kennedy cored on the 62nd minute. After this the main point of interest was the Rec having two men sent off on the 72nd minute, Wakehurst a man sent off on the 94 and the Rec a Third man red carded after the final whistle.

DUNLOY 0 - 0 DESERTMARTIN
Both teams tended to cancel each other out in mid-field in this game thus good clear chances were few and far between. As a result, no goals were scored with the teams sharing the points at the end.

St JAMES SWIFTS RES 3 - 1 COOKSTOWN OLYMPIC
St James went in front after Oran McManus scored on the 5th minute then Rian Conneru equalised for the Olympic on the 25th minute which saw the team’s level at half-time. St James went in front again after Eugene Gallagher scored on the 52nd minute followed by Stephen McDonald adding a third goal on the 85th minute securing the points.

INSPIRED COMMUNITY 4 - 6 3rd BALLYCLARE OB
This was certainly a high scoring game with the teams sharing ten goals. Inspired went in front after Abidon Alli scored on the 11th minute then an own goal on the 36th minute saw the team’s level. Ballyclare went ahead after Josh Steele scored on the 42nd minute followed by Naweed Mahmood scoring for Inspired on the 46th minute. Ballyclare went ahead again after Jack Ferguson scored on the 49th minute followed by Anthony Gillanders scoring on the 54th minute. Inspired got a goal back after Ayub Jama scored on the 59th minute followed by Joel O’Neil scoring on the 76th minute for Ballyclare. Abidon Alli scored his second goal on the 76th minute cutting the deficit to a goal before Joel O’Neil completed the scoring on the 79th minute.

There was little to choose between the teams in this game with only goal being scored by Michael Collingwood on the 59th minute give Maloneys all three points. Referee Mr Dean McLernon
RATHCOOLE RESERVES 1 - 4 GREENCASTLE ROVERS
The Rovers went in front after Mark Tutin scored on the 3rd minute then Ian hunter equalised for Rathcoole on the 9th minute. Rovers went in front again when Mark Kelly scored on the 26th minute followed by Ryan McClory scoring on 27th minute and Mark Tutin on the 32nd Minute to complete the scoring.

TWO
AHOGHILL THISTLE DEV 1 - 2 NEWINGTON RANGERS
The Thistle went in front after Alexander Kerr scored on the 39th minute and this goal separated the teams until David McKay scored for the Rangers on the 54th minute. Time was beginning to run down when Lee Magill scored for the Rangers on the 77th minute which sealed the win at the end.

GRANGE RANGERS 1 - 1 BALLYCLARE NORTH END
This was a very close derby game between the Ballyclare neighbours with a draw possible being a fair result. The goals in the game were scored by Ian Wallace for Grange on the 29th minute and Matthew Forsythe on the 49th minute for North End. Referee Mr Lewis Allison
