The Results on Saturday saw Seven Intermediate teams progress to the 2nd Round of the Irish FA Intermediate Cup. Unfortunately, we lost Three Teams who for different reasons had to pull out of the competition and Six who met with defeat on Saturday.

In the CAFA Junior Shield Five teams progressed to the 2nd Round but Four teams lost out in their games and One game of due to no Referee.

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE

No games scheduled due to IFA Intermediate Cup games being Played.

IFA INTERMEDIATE CUP 1st ROUND

WAKEHURST 5 - 4 MOYOLA PARK

Wakehurst got off to a blistering start with Jamie Houston scoring on the 1st minute. Moyola replied with Samuel McIlveen scoring on the 3rd minute. Wakehurst were in front again on the 4th minute when Andrew Loughlin scored then added a third goal when Jamie Houston scored on the 17th minute. Moyola came back to square the game with goals scored by Caleb Wan and Adam Gray on the 35th and 51st minutes. Wakehurst went in front again when Jamie Houston completed his hat-trick on the 56th minute. Moyola came back with Aaron Harris scoring to level the game on the 73rd minute. Wakehurst went in front again when Jamie Houston scored his fourth goal in the game on the 77th minute to seal the win.

LARNE TECH OB 2 - 2 (aet) NEWBUILDINGS UNITED (Newbuildings win 4-2 Pens)

Newbuildings went in front after Jack Bradley scored on the 38th minute then were two in front after Matthew Pierce scored on the 57th minute. The Old Boys came back with goals scored by Oliver Carson on the73rd and 94th minutes to take the game into extra time where no goals were scored. Penalties were then taken with Newbuildings winning 4-2

St JAMES SWIFTS 6 - 0 BANBRIDGE RANGERS

This was a good day at the office for St James who took a three goals lead with goals scored by Ciaran Hylands on the 5th, 23rd and 28th minutes. Sean Donnelley made it four nil on the 38th minute followed by Jamie Sharvin scoring on the 64th minute. Time was almost up when Eugene Gallagher converted a penalty on the 89th minute to complete the scoring.

St LUKES 1 - 2 WELLINGTON REC

The Rec went in front after Aaronm Smyth scored on the 43rd minute then saw Kevin Short equalise for the home side on the 50th minute. The Rec went in front for a second time after Kieran O’Boyle scored on the 75th minute which proved to be the winning goal in the game.

LURGAN TOWN 0 - 2 DUNLOY

Half-time saw no goals scored in the game then Dermott McErlain scored putting the Dunloy ahead on the 57th minute. Both teams had a man sent off on the 82nd minute. The game was in the 92nd minute when Conan McAuley converted a penalty to seal the win for Dunloy. The home side then had a second man sent off on the 95th minute.

SHORTS 0 - 1 (aet) GLEBE RANGERS

Both teams had chances to score in normal time but at the final whistle no goals had been scored. Extra time was then played with Daniel Brown scoring to take Glebe into the next round.

DOWNSHIRE YM 1 - 3 BALLYMONEY UNITED

The Toon went in front after Gerad Gillan scored on the 14thminute and follow this with a second goal scored by Matthew Knight on the 38th minute. The YM goy a goal back after Aaron Wright scored on the 69th minute. The Toon got a third goal scored by Rafferty McKay on the 79th minute to make it eight wins from eight played.

TULLYCARNET 1 - 1 (aet) DONEGAL CELTIC (Tullycarnet win 4-3 Penalties)

After a steady start Celtic went in front when James Mullan scored on the 21st minute. Tullycarnet got back level after Svetozar Zdravkov scored on the 39th minute. No more goals were scored in both normal and extra time with penalties being take which Tullycarnet win 4-3

HOLYWOOD 3 - 1 BELFAST CELTIC

Celtic went behind after Rudi Littke scored for the home side on the 23rd minute. Celtic then conceded two more goals scored by Callum Jones 28th and Joshu Craig 78th minutes. The game was almost over when Shane McKernan scored a consolation goal for Celtic on the 89th minute.

DESERTMARTIN 2 - 6 IMMACULATTA

WILLOWBANK 7 - 2 COOKSTOWN YOUTH

LARNE OLYMPIC 4 - 1 RATHCOOLE

BALLYMACASH RANGERS 3 - 0 CHIMNEY CORNER (Chimney Corner withdrew)

NEWTOWNE 0 - 3 CRUMLIN UNITED (Newtowne withdrew)

ABBEY VILLA 3 - 0 BALLYNURE OB (Ballynure OB withdrew)

ONE

GREENISLAND DEV 0 - 3 St JAMES SWIFTS Res

The swifts went in front after Paul Moore scored on the 2nd minute but had to wait until the 81st minute for their second goal scored by Caoinhin Norney. The Swifts then sealed the win when Callum Muckian scored a third goal on the 83rd minute.

MALONEYS 7 - 0 SOFIA FARMER

DIVISION TWO

WELLINGTON REC II 7 - - 0 NORTH BALLYMENA RANGERS

The Rec went three goals in front scored by Graham Kennedy 20th and 27th Minutes and Daniel McIlroy 25th minute. Graham Kennedy scored two more goals on the 47th and 62nd minute bringing his tall to four in the game. The last to goals were scored by Pero Santos 78th minute converted penalty by Adrian Morton on the 81st minute.

DONEGAL CELTIC RES 10 - 1 BALLYCLARE NORTH END

The Celtic Reserves went on a goal scoring spree with the goals being scored by Pierce Arteton 15th, Ryan Lambe 18th and 22nd, Ciaran Lundy 25th, Ryan Lambe 31st and 36th, Ciaran Lundy, 48th and 52nd, Caoimhin Mulvenna 60th and Sean McAteer 81st minutes before Kairen Jones scored for North End on the 86th minute.

NORTH BELFAST UNITED 2 - 4 NEWINGTON RANGERS

Newington took a three-goal lead with goals scored by Christopher Steele 18th and 49th minutes and a goal from Jason Hawthorne on the 23rd minute. An own goal on the 60th minute and one scored by Michael O’Neil on the 82nd minute saw United back in the game. Time was running out when Jason Hawthorne scored his third goal to seal the win for Rangers on the 86th minute,
