In the Intermediate Division it was a big week for Ballymoney United and Dunloy who both recorded Two League wins. Dunloy travelled mid-week to Chimney Corner and won by the odd goal in five then on Saturday travelled to Belfast Celtic and won by the odd goal in three. Ballymoney won the local derby against Glebe Rangers mid-week by the only goal in the game then travelled to St James Swifts on Saturday again winning by the only gal in the game.
One game was lost to wet weather Glebe Rangers v Coagh United when the referee called the game off due to incessant rain.
Saturday next will see the Junior Teams commence in competition with a full list of fixtures planned to be played.

Mid-Week League Games
Tuesday 27th August
BALLYMONEY UNITED 1-0 GLEBE RANGERS
This was the first derby of the season between the two neighbours and the game was played hard but fair by all. Chances came and went for both teams throughout the game, but the result was decided by a goal scored by Stuart McMullan for Ballymoney on the 35th minute.

COAGH UNITED 5-0 DESERTMARTIN
The first goal in this game was very important as it allowed the scoring team to sit and hit quickly on the break. Coagh went in front after Aaron Campbell scored on the 34th minute followed by a brace scored by Stefan Thompson on the 46th and 50th minutes. The Martins tried hard to get back into the game, but Two late goals scored by Lee Smyth and Harry Wilson on the 87th and 90th minutes sealed the win for Coagh.

CHIMNEY CORNER 2-3 DUNLOY
Dunloy took an early lead in this game when Caolan Gillen scored on the 4th minute and this goal separated the teams at half-time. Conal Dooey made it two nil on the 47th minute before Reece Gilmour scored for the Corner on the 47th minute. The Corner then pushed hard for the equaliser, but it was Dunloy who scored with Declan McGarry on the mark on the 76th minute. The Corner never gave up, but it was 90+ minutes when Kyle Robinson scored their second goal.

Wednesday 28th August
COOKSTOWN YOUTH 2-0 COOKSTOWN RBL
The morning after bragging rights were at stake in this game which saw no goals scored before half-time. The Youth then went in front after Mark Megarry scored on the 51st minute and followed this with this second goal on the 72nd minute to seal the win for the Youth.

BALLYNURE OB 1-6 BELFAST CELTIC
The first goal in this game was scored by David Higgins for Ballynure on the 48th minute then a brace of goals scored by Darren Stuart on the 50th and 57th minutes put Celtic in front. Celtic went on to score four more goals through Gary Warwick 62nd, Joshua Lynch 71st, Gary Warwick 73rd minutes before Darren Stuart completed his hat-trick on the 83rd minute.

DONEGAL CELTIC 2-6 WAKEHURST
Celtic went in front after Anthony Philpott scored on the 2nd minute then goals scored by Jason Paul 22nd, Aaron Weir 23rd and Jason Paul again on the 40th minute saw Wakehurst Two goals clear. Jason Paul then completed his hat-trick on the 50th minute followed by Andy Loughlin scoring on the 61st minute before Jason Paul scored his fourth goal in the game on the 74th minute. Time was then running down when Anthony Philpott converted a penalty for Celtic on the 83rd minute.

BRANTWOOD 1-2 St JAMES SWIFTS
St James went in front after James Heatherington scored on the 10th minute but had to wit until the 57th minute for their second goal scored by Eugene Gallagher. Brantwood got back into the game after Corey Kerr scored on the 65th minute but could not force the equaliser.

Friday 30th August
GLEBE RANGERS v COAGH UNITED
Referee called game off due to ground being waterlogged
COOKSTOWN RBL 2-1 DESERTMARTIN
The first goals in the game was cored by Matheus Batista on the 36th minute then put RBL into the lead. RBL then increased their advantage when Matthew Kelly scored on the 76th minute followed by Connor Stewart getting a goal back for Desertmartin on the 80th minute. After this the Martins went all-out for the equaliser but RBL held out for the win.

Saturday 31st August League Games
St JAMES SWIFTS 0-1 BALLYMONEY UNITED
This was a second major scalp for Ballymoney to take in the same week after having beaten Glebe Rangers mid-week. There was little to choose between the teams throughout the game except for the goal that decided the result scored by Josh Rohdich on the 18th minute of the game.

BELFAST CELTIC 1-2 DUNLOY
Dunloy continued their good run with this result which was a dent in Celtic aspirations of winning the Title at end of season. No goals were scored during the first half then Caolan Guillen put Dunloy in front on the 47th minute. Dunloy then doubled their lead after Neil McNicholl scored on the 65th minute and this score remained until scored for Celtic on the 90th minute.

CHIMNEY CORNER 0-2 BRANTWOOD
There was little to choose between then teams until Curtis Dempster scored for Brantwood on the 57th minute. The Corner tried herd to get back into the game but Curtis Dempster with his second goal on the 88th minute sealed the win for Brantwood.

WAKEHURST 3-1 BALLYNURE OB
Wakehurst went in front after Jason Paul continued his goal scoring run on the 7th minute when he scored then scored his second goal on the 15th minute giving him a total of ten goals in the weeks three games. Wakehurst increased their lead on the 27th minute after Andy Loughlin scored. Ballynure got back into the game after Matthew McIlfatrick scored on the 67th minute but at the end Wakehurst collected all Three points.
