Saturday 26th August is the first time a full list of Intermediate games played in both groups this Season.
There are a number of interesting games with every team seeking to be victorious in their quest for points.
In the Junior Divisions it is planned to get the action started on Saturday 2nd September followed by the 1st Round of the IFA Cup on the 9th of September

INTERMEDIATE
LEAGUE
BALLYNURE OB 1 - 3 DESERTMARTIN
The Martins took an early lead after David Dripps scored on the 6th minute then doubled their advantage when Eamon McAllister scored on the 12th minute. The Martins went further in front when Adam McClelland converted a penalty on the 20th minute. Things then settled down after this flurry of goals until Kyle Abernethy converted a penalty for the Nure on the 42nd minute which surprisingly was the final goal in the game.

NEWTOWNE 0 - 1 MAIDEN CITY
This was a keenly contested game with a single goal scored by Stehen Duffy for the City on the 23rd minute that decided the result at the final whistle.

WAKEHURST 1 - 6 NEWBUILDINGS UNITED
The United went in front after Jack Bradley scored on the 17th minute then added two more quick goals scored by Lorcan Toner and Adam Kirk on the 20th and 22nd minutes. Matthew Pierce then converted a penalty on the 36th minute and his second goal on the 42nd minute. United went six goal s clear when Stephen Curry scored on the 65th minute then had man sent off on the 69th minute. Time was beginning to run down when Leaon Patton converted a penalty for Wakehurst on the 78th minute.

CAFA STEEL & SONS CUP 2nd ROUND
BALLYMONEY UNITED 4 - 2 St MATTHEWS
Ballymoney went in front after Reece Watton scored on the 9th minute then Mark Headman equalised for the visitors on the 11th minute. Ballymoney then went two goals clear after Josh Rohdich scored on the 31st and 41st minutes. St Matthew got a goal back after Liam Prigent scored on the 63rd minute. Ballymoney sealed the win after Jake Francis scored goal number four on the 82nd minute.
BELFAST CELTIC 2 - 1 RATHCOOLE
A penalty converted by Shane McKernan saw Celtic go in front on the 26th minute. As half-time approached Eamon Kelly made it two nil for Celtic after scoring on the 44th minute. Rathcoole to their credit never gave up getting a goal when David Moore scored on the 89th minute.
LISBURN RANGERS 3 - 1 DONEGAL CELTIC
Celtic went in front after Ryan McAuley scored on the 10th minute and held this advantage until Gerald McMullan scored for the Rangers on the 26th minute. The Rangers then went in front after Ben Chapman scored on the 28th minute. Celtic had a man sent off on the 42nd minute which was followed by Edwin Begley scoring a third goal for Rangers on the 44th minute.
CRUSADERS U21s 2 - 2 aet St JAMES SWIFTS (Swifts win 4-2 on Pens)
The Crues went in front after Bradley Maguire scored on the 42nd minute then Sean Donnelly scored for St James on the 44thminute. The Cruses went back in front after Bradley Maguire scored his second goal on the 75th minute then Eugene Gallagher equalised for the Swifts on the 77th minute. No more goals were scored in normal or extra-time with penalties being taken resulting in the Swifts winning 4-2 in the shoot-out.
BARN UNITED 0 - 3 WELLINGTON REC
After a steady start by both teams the Rec went in front after Chistopher Guiller scored on the 42nd minute followed by Curtis Crawford making it two nil on the 47th minute. This score remained until Mark Mundell scored a third goal for the Rec on the 80th minute.
BRANTWOOD 0 - 2 CLIFTONVILLE OLYMPIC
The Olympic were sharper around the penalty box than the home side which resulted in David Alfred scoring a brace of goals for the Olympic on the 33rd and 69th minutes.
ABBEY VILLA 3 - 1 GLEBE RANGERS
The first goal in the game was scored by Adam Arthur on the 60th minute putting the home side in front. Glebe were back level on the 62nd minute after Like Mitchell scored. This score remained with extra-time beckoning when Jake Wilson and Chris Murray scored for the home side on the 82nd and 84th minutes.
DUNLOY 0 - 1 EAST BELFAST
There was little to choose between the teams other than the goal scored by Daryl Evans on the 31st minute that took the East into the next round.
COMBER REC 9 - 0 CHIMNEY CORNER
Corner conceded the first goal on the 13th minute then another Four before half-time. No doubt the young Corner players will put this down to experience for the future as it will not be in every game, they meet a team as organised and experienced as Comber.
