BALLYMENA and PROVINCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
MATCH REPORTS
Season 2019-20
WEEK-ENDING 28th SEPTEMBER 2019

A full programme of League and Cup games were played across both the Intermediate and Junior Divisions on Saturday. The downside to this is it must be taken into consideration within the Junior games we only had six games to play due to Junior Cup matches involving fifteen of our teams otherwise shortage of Referees may have been a problem again.

From the Intermediate Division nine teams were playing in the Irish Cup and unfortunately, we had to lose a team with Glebe Rangers and Chimney Corner playing each other. In the other Seven games three went to extra time with four teams winning namely Coagh United, Brantwood, Belfast Celtic and St James Swifts.
In the Junior Shield game Seven teams win through to the next round from the Fifteen playing.
