Ballymoney United by their win on Saturday go into the hat for the 5th Round Draw of the Irish Cup. Hopefully, they get a favourable draw against one of the Leading Senior teams like Coleraine or Linfield where thy should get a share of a bumper gate. The Matches will be played o Saturday 7th January 2023
Saturday next will see Rathcoole, Antrim Rovers, Greencastle Rovers, and Woodlands play in the 3rd Round of the CAFA Junior Shield. Killymoon Rangers will be playing in the 3rd Round of the Mid-ulster Shield while Desertmartin will entertain near neighbours Magherafelt Sky Blues in the Northwest Matt Morrison Cup.

LEAGUE
DONEGAL CELTIC 0 - 1 BELFAST CELTIC
CHIMNEY CORNER 1 - 2 COOKSTOWN YOUTH
A brace of goals scored by Mark Megarry on the 21st and 44th minutes saw then Youth two goals in front. The Corner got a goal back after Graham Ervine scored on the 52nd minute. The Youth replied to this with Abel Ferreira scoring on the 59th minute to seal the win.

WAKEHURST 2 - 1 St JAMES SWIFTS
After a steady start by both teams Wakehurst went in front after Conor Doherty converted a penalty on the 30th minute then followed with their second goal scored by Glenn Vance on the 57th minute. The Swifts got back into the game after Eugene Gallagher scored on the 67th minute. Wakehurst then closed shop at the back and went on to claim the win.

COAGH UNITED 1 - 1 BALLYNURE OB
Ballynure went in front after Joel O’Neil scored on the 3rd minute and held this advantage until James Ferguson equalised for Coagh on the 36th minute. Both teams had a chance to score after this but at the end it was a point to each team.

DESERTMARTIN 0 - 1 BRANTWOOD
Though both teams had a chance or two to score the score line was blank at half-time. The second half was like the first except for a goal scored by Aaron McClean on the 51st minute that won the points for the visitors.

DUNLOY 3 - 1 WELLINGTON REC
Both teams cancelled each other out resulting in no goals scored during the First half. Things change on the 58th minute when Ryan McNickle scored putting the Rec in front. Play progressed into the last ten minutes when a penalty converted by Jonathan Fyfe on the 81st minute saw Dunloy back on level terms. Dunloy then added two more goals scored by Neil McNicholl on the 83rd and Michael O’Mullan on the 84th minutes to claim all three points.

IRISH CUP 4th ROUND
BALLYMONEY UNITED 2 - 0 FINAGHY
This was a big result for Ballymoney and takes them into the Fifth Round. Ballymoney went in front after Josh Rohdich scored on the 34th minute saw Ballymoney in front at half-time. The single goal saw Ballymoney still in front until the 79th minute when Chandler Douglas scored their second goal sealing the win.

KILLYMOON RANGERS 3 - 1 AHOGHILL THISTLE DEV
The Rangers went in front after Richard Donaghy scored n the22nd minute. Thistle got back level after Andrew Farquar scored on the 41st minute then an own goal conceded by Thistle saw the Rangers back in front on the 44th minute. This saw the scoring stop until the 88th minute when Luke Patterson scored number three for the Rangers.

ANTRIM ROVERS 2 - 3 St JAMES SWIFTS RESERVES
This was a close contested game for the entire ninety minutes with goals being scored by Stephen McDonald 2 and Jay Leckey for St James and Own Goal and Tommy Bownes for the Rovers.

GREENCASTLE ROVERS 2 - 2 WOODLANDS
The Rovers went in front after Oran Johnston scored on the 31st minute then doubled their lead after Sean Southam scored on the 44th minute. Woodlands got back into the game after Stuart McCullough scored on the 50th minute and were back level after Benjamin Morrison scored on the 70th minute.

RATHCOOLE 9 - 0 COOKSTOWN OLYMPIC
Goals scored by Ross Watters 18th, William McMurdie 27th, Adam Doyle 30th and 36th, Ryan Wright 35th, and David Moore 44th minutes saw Rathcoole well in commend. The second half saw Aaron Lindsay 59th, Samuel Beattie 67th and Harry Bassett 86th minutes score.

RED STAR 3 - 1 BALLYNURE OB ‘B’
The first goal in this game was an own goal conceded by Ballynure on the 45th minute. Ballynure got back level after Jackie Todd scored on the 60th minute and this score remained until Matthew McFaul scored a brace of goals for the Star on the 80th and 85th minutes.

GREENISLAND III 4 - 2 GREENCASTLE ROVERS II
The Islanders went two goals ahead scored by Owen Barrons 2nd and Aidan McGarvey 11th minutes. An own goal conceded by the Rovers on the 22nd minute and a goal scored by James McGarry on the 41st minute saw the lead extend to Four. The Rovers hit back with Niall McWilliams scoring on the 62nd minute followed by an own goal on the 75th minute cut the lead to two goals before the final whistle.

3rd BALLYCLARE OB 1 - 0 DESERTMARTIN SWIFTS
The defences of both teams ruled the roost for prolonged periods of time during this game resulting in few clear chances around goal. In one breakthrough James Cowan nipped in to score on the 80th minute to win the games for the Old Boys. Both teams had a man sent off in the second half Old Boys on the 60th and the Martins on the 91st minutes.

BELFAST ATHLETIC RES 8 - 1 SOFIA FARMER
The Athletic went in front after Martin Crangle scored on the 14th minute then Sofia equalised on the 35th minute. The Athletic went in front again after Dave Finlay scored on the 42nd minute followed by goals scored by Corey Logan 54th, Sean burns 66th, 68th and 90th penalty minutes. Dave Finlay converted a penalty on the 82nd minute and Pearse Foster scored on the 88th minute.

NEWINGTON RANGERS 2 - 4 NORTH BELFAST UNITED
The North got off to a quick start with Brooklyn Duncan scoring on the 5th minute then following up with his second goal on the 35th minute. The Rangers got a goal back after Lindsay Carroll converted a penalty on the 40th minute only to see Aidan Larkin and Nathan Mullan scored for the Rangers on the 47th and 68th minutes. The final goal in the game was concede by the North on the 72nd minute.

Grange went three goals clear scored by Paul Martin 3rd, James White 10th, and Nathan Simmonds 22nd minutes. Grange got two more goals scored by Darren Hamilton 83rd and Matthew Forsythe 86th minute without reply.
